Miriam Slikhanian, MSc

Miriam Slikhanian is a licensed adult clinical psychologist and cognitive behavioral therapist. 

She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Lebanese American University (LAU) , and her master degree in Clinical Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London. She was then trained in clinical psychology at “Hôpital Psychiatrique de la Croix”. 

Miriam has extensive experience and training in working with individuals with mental health needs as well as experience in medical humanitarian NGOs as a clinical psychologist. 

At Nawfal Clinics, Miriam works with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) with various client groups including individuals who experience symptoms of mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, addictive behaviors, and personality disorders.

In addition, she administers psychological tests including tests of personality and cognition. 

Miriam’s main area of interest is obsessive compulsive disorder. She is involved in scientific research where she studies neuropsychological functioning in obsessive compulsive and related disorders.
