Mary had a bachelor degree in psychology from the American University of Beirut (AUB), she then earned a master degree in Clinical Psychology with honors from Goldsmiths, University of London. Her emphasis was in education and child development. She is currently completing her diploma in Special Education at the American University of Beirut (AUB). Mary has attended intensive trainings in several special education corrective programs that stimulate students’ cognitive and mental imagery skills. Moreover, she attended trainings for behavioral modification for children with problematic behaviors. Mary has worked in both clinical and school settings since 2014. She has also provided trainings and workshops for special educators in schools and centers.

At Nawfal Clinics, Mary conducts curriculum based and standardized educational assessments that evaluate the student’s overall academic abilities and skills. She provides a personalized educational intervention plan for children, adolescents and young adults that are facing learning difficulties and/or are suffering from Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysorthographia, Dysgraphia), ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Intellectual Disabilities. Moreover, she provides parents and the learner with the most suitable education plan whether in the session or in school. For young adults, Mary provides one-on-one sessions through which strategies and techniques are practiced to facilitate the learning process of concepts studied in school. She provides special education services in English, Mathematics and Arabic through research based corrective programs. Mary provides both study skills program (for those in university) and a functional academic program (for those who did not continue university) to allow for a smooth transition into adulthood.
