Marie Ghanem, MA

Marie is a licensed clinical psychologist. She is a couples and family therapist.

She studied clinical psychology and obtained a masters in this field from the Lebanese University. She then joined a training in systemic analytical therapy under the guidance of Professor Abbas Makki. She also completed a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy certification at the Psychiatric Hospital of the Cross (Der el Salib) in collaboration with Saint-Anne hospital – Paris.

At Nawfal Clinics, Ms. Ghanem practices Family and Couples Therapy. Her main focus is in conflict resolution, relationships improvement, communication, anger management, stress and grief.

Vision and Value

Besides being an active member of several NGO’s such as «جمعية السعادة النفسية » and a “Psychological Expert”, the Maronite Unified Court of First Instance, Ms. Ghanem believes that every couple has the chance to save their bond through relationship improvement satisfaction utilizing multiple therapeutic interventions.

Concerning Family Therapy Ms. Ghanem says: “Family stability is crucial for a healthy society and everything can be solved through right guidance and support “. She insists that every member is important, and deserves to be respected and listened to, mentioning the right of each family to be adjusted, by offering coping skills to keep the members close.
