Maria Jabbour, MA

Maria Jabbour is a licensed clinical psychologist and psychotherapist specialized in children, adolescents and young adults. She joined Nawfal clinics in 2012 and heads the Children & Adolescent unit. She conducts individual psychotherapy and cognitive assessments using a wide range of tests (Wechsler ; Kauffman; Projective tests; Adaptive functioning tests; Questionnaires and behavioral scales).

She graduated with distinction from USJ (Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth ) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology. She had a series of supervised training in several hospitals, care centers and NGO’s, actively working for two consecutive years with children suffering from developmental delays, autism, mental retardation and learning disabilities.

Maria is specialized in the clinical work with children and adolescents suffering from several psychological difficulties such as anxiety, hyperactivity, depression, phobia and relationship conflicts. Maria also does school intervention plans.

Follow ups include family guidance sessions to bring the best care for the children.
